These terms apply to services booked from Star Musical Entertainer. Where a written quotation or booking confirmation says something different, that document takes precedence over this page.

1. Enquiries And Quotations

An enquiry is not a booking. Quotations are prepared for a specific date, venue and scope, and remain valid for the period stated on the quotation. Prices may change if the date, venue, timing, guest count or scope changes after the quotation is issued.

2. Confirming A Booking

A date is held in our calendar only once a booking advance has been received and we have issued a written confirmation. Until then, the date remains available to other clients. The confirmation lists what has been agreed — services, artist numbers, duration and equipment — and that list is what we are obliged to deliver.

3. Payments

The booking advance and the balance due date are stated in your confirmation. The balance is payable on or before the event day unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. We issue a receipt for every payment received.

4. Changes And Cancellation

Tell us about any change as early as you can and we will do our best to accommodate it. Changes to date, venue or scope are subject to availability and may affect the price.

If you cancel, the booking advance is generally non-refundable, because holding a date means declining other work for it. Where a cancellation happens well in advance and we are able to rebook the date, we will consider a partial refund at our discretion.

5. Postponement

Where an event is postponed rather than cancelled, we will make reasonable efforts to transfer your booking to the new date subject to artist and equipment availability. If the new date cannot be serviced, the cancellation terms apply.

6. Your Responsibilities As Client

To perform properly, we need you or your venue to provide:

  • Adequate and stable electrical supply, including three-phase power for larger productions
  • Safe, timely access for loading in and out of equipment
  • A defined and structurally safe stage or performance area
  • Cover from rain and direct sun for equipment at outdoor events
  • Any permissions required by the venue, society or local authority

Where these are not available and it prevents or limits performance, we cannot be held responsible for the shortfall, and the agreed fee remains payable.

7. Timings And Overruns

The performance duration is stated in your confirmation. If the programme runs beyond the agreed time at your request, additional charges may apply at the rate stated in the quotation. Many venues in Delhi NCR enforce a statutory cut-off for amplified sound; we are obliged to comply with it regardless of the booked duration.

8. Substitution Of Artists

We name artists in good faith. In the rare event of illness, injury or a genuine emergency, we reserve the right to substitute an artist of equivalent standard, and will tell you as soon as we know.

9. Circumstances Beyond Our Control

We are not liable for failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disaster, civil disturbance, government restriction, venue closure, sudden road closure or power failure at the venue.

10. Equipment And Damage

All equipment we bring remains our property. If it is damaged or lost through the actions of guests, other vendors, or anyone at the venue outside our team, the cost of repair or replacement is the client's responsibility.

11. Conduct And Safety

We may pause or stop a performance where our team, your guests or the equipment is at risk — for example, unsafe crowd behaviour or an unstable stage. We will always try to resolve the situation before stopping.

12. Photographs And Recordings

We may photograph or record our own performance for our portfolio and marketing. If you would prefer us not to, tell us in writing before the event and we will respect that.

13. Liability

Our total liability in connection with any booking is limited to the amount you have paid us for that booking. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts at Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
