Our Story
In 1990, Rajesh Bajaj began performing at weddings and devotional gatherings across Delhi and Ghaziabad with a small group of musicians. There was no company name at first, and no ambition beyond doing each evening properly.
Word travelled the way it does in Indian families — a cousin at a wedding, an aunt at a jagran, a neighbour who wanted the same singers for her daughter's sangeet. Thirty-five years later, that is still how most of our work arrives.
Today Star Musical Entertainer is a complete event entertainment company. We maintain a roster of more than a hundred and fifty artists — vocalists, instrumentalists, dancers, anchors and devotional specialists — and we own and operate our own sound, lighting, staging and LED equipment rather than subcontracting it.
That matters more than it sounds. When one team is responsible for the music, the performers and the technical production, there is nobody to blame when something goes wrong — which is precisely why it usually does not.
How We Work
Every engagement begins with a conversation, not a price list. We need to understand the occasion, the venue, the guests and what the family actually cares about before we can recommend anything sensible.
From there we propose an arrangement, quote it in writing with everything itemised, and — once confirmed — take responsibility for delivering it. We survey venues in advance, rehearse what needs rehearsing, arrive early, and keep our own crew on site for the duration.
